BERRIES Galore!

• The California strawberry deal is pretty tight for the next week or so.  The rain we had last week damaged most of the fruit in Watsonville, Salinas and Santa Maria.  Add  the increase in sales due to the Easter pull and low volume, we will have a very short market.
• Peru and Chilean blueberries are winding down. California is getting started in a very limited way.  Prices will remain high until production out of California increases, probably mid May???  
• We will see the Mexican blackberry deal fall for the next few weeks. Expect to see selling prices in the high teens.
• Organic black berries in stock for delivery tomorrow 4/12.
