In 1988, Watsonville Coast Produce made a commitment to sustainable
agriculture by adding organically grown fruits and vegetables to our
product line. It is exciting to watch the continuing growth of this
segment of our industry. We are currently shipping over 250,000 packages
of organic a year. Watsonville Coast Produce is at the forefront of
organic produce distribution in northern and central California. On
any given day, you may expect us to have over 250 different organic
fruits and vegetables for your selection from many of your favorite
growers. Since we have our own banana rooms, we can't be beat when it
comes to our organic banana program. We also have "Fair-trade"
bananas. In addition to our complete line of fresh organic produce,
we also stock "organic" stickers, twist-ties and other related
supplies for your convenience.
Watsonville Coast Produce is a USDA Certified Organic Handler. We have
been certified by Monterey County Certified Organics, a division of
the Monterey County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office. All of
our organic produce is "certified organic". We have certifications
on file from all of our suppliers, copies of which are available to
you upon request. If you would like a current list of what’s on
